It’s a bad time to be a Roger Federer fan, he has just been sent out of the 2018 gentlemen’s quarter-final in cruel fashion by Kevin Anderson. The irony of the match is that Federer was in Cruise control in the first two sets but a resurgent Anderson came back from the dead to beat the 20-time Grand Slam champion 2-6, 6-7, 7-5, 6-4, 13-11.

It was indeed a thrilling five-set match that saw the South African Kevin Anderson recover from two sets down to book his spot in Friday’s semifinal by knocking out the eight-time Wimbledon Open winner whose Mother coincidentally is from Kevin Anderson’s home country of South Africa.
