Nigeria is 6 and 0 at the just concluded FIBA Africa zone qualifiers. Jordan and the basketball family are excited as the country qualified for the second round of the qualification series for CHINA 2019. Jordan Nwora the son of the current coach of the D’Tigers was the star attraction at the 3-day event held at the newly renovated indoor sports hall of National stadium Surulere Lagos.

Nwora gave Lagos fans a glimpse of the future of Nigerian basketball, as he scored a massive 36 points which is the new record for most points scored by a Nigerian player in a major tournament, surpassing the 31-point mark set by Ike Diogu. We are looking forward to great things coming from him in the Nigerian jersey
